Every year, the house across the street is transformed into a lovely Christmas tree lot. Our neighbor Linwood Palmer's father used to have a large Christmas tree farm up in the north woods of Maine. Linwood used to sell a few trees every year in his driveway and now, so many people are used to coming to his house, that he keeps doing it out of habit. He doesn't advertise, he doesn't need to. Most of his customers wouldn't think to buy a tree anywhere else. And neither would we.
