It snowed all night and this morning the world was covered with a deep layer of snow. I made my way out to the birdfeeders and the snow is as deep as my knees. I dug down to the 18" high
stone feeder and filled the other hanging feeders. The apple tree is still covered with last year's apples and the birds and squirrels nibble on those as well. I love to look out and see the activity and I'm happy to provide some treats in the middle of winter.
