Geese have loads of personality. They can be loud and messy but they are good sentries and are quite friendly - especially if you have bread in your hand. They are curious around strangers and this flock patrols the shoreline along the inlet to the alewife fish ladder. When they get it in their heads to cross the road, they will eye your car with a haughty stare and you'll just have to wait to let them cross the road at their own deliberate pace.
