Ice and Bubbles.
I stopped at the edge of the water along a creek that is at the upper reaches of ocean tidal influences.  Ocean water runs more than 12 miles up the Damariscotta River, through the Great Salt Bay, and finally up into Oyster Creek where it floods the salt hay that grows along the banks.  These bubbles form as the ice is lifted,  then is gently lowered back down onto the grass every 6+ hours.
