January 2, 2010. It's cold but I am in search of today's one thing beautiful so I suit up in warm winter clothes and go for a walk. My husband decides to join me and we set out into the cold and muffled softness. Then we meet an old friend who is a new neighbor of ours. Further down the road we help another neighbor call for her dog who is out frolicking in the new snow. And I notice this lovely tree, waiting patiently, under a fresh coating of snow. Beautiful.
